Genspark offers a suite of AI-powered tools built to supercharge creativity and execution for teams of any size. In partnership with Alex Morrison and the team at Magnetic, we were tasked with creating a brand film that demonstrates how the platform can help someone build a brand from scratch, design and code a website, and craft a compelling retail presentation.

Challenge

Genspark was a newly launched brand with no visual identity, no established style, and no creative precedent to build from. The challenge was to define their look, voice, and story while simultaneously crafting their first flagship brand asset.

A second challenge was focus. The platform is powerful and capable of so much, yet the film needed to communicate its core value in under a minute. Finding clarity within that breadth required precise creative decision-making.

Lastly, every “live-action” moment had to be generated using AI. From the drone shot flying into San Francisco to the interior of the entrepreneur’s loft, every frame had to be scripted, prompted, and guided into existence — without the benefit of traditional production.

Solution

We built the brand’s visual language from scratch

With no existing creative assets, we established the foundation for GenSpark’s identity in real time. We defined the tone, pacing, color direction, and narrative approach while shaping how the brand should feel: inventive, empowering, and intuitive. Every frame of AI video required intentional prompting and art direction to ensure cohesiveness across scenes — from the citywide opener to the focused moments inside our entrepreneur’s workspace.

At the same time, we built the emotional spine of the film. We developed a script that captured the energy of early-stage creation and made sure the pacing allowed viewers to understand the platform’s capabilities quickly. We crafted a brand voice that was confident but accessible, positioning GenSpark as a creative partner rather than just another tool. This groundwork became the cornerstone of all future storytelling.

Solution

We applied real production discipline to an AI-driven workflow

To bring authenticity to a fully AI-generated film, we treated the process like a traditional shoot. We led extensive casting sessions to identify the perfect lead — someone who reflected Genspark’s target creator demographic. We scripted every beat of the story, ensuring each moment served a purpose. We then designed custom 2D animation to showcase the interface, allowing the visuals to flow naturally from lifestyle scenes into functional product moments.

A bespoke music score gave the film momentum and emotional lift, and the voiceover was written and delivered to resonate with ambitious creators stepping into new ideas. The disciplined blend of AI footage, animation, score, and VO created a seamless narrative that felt polished, human, and cinematic — even without a single day of live-action production.

The brand film premiered at their Wall Street Journal press event and received outstanding praise for both its creativity and clarity.
